Mallee, to 7 m high, bark smooth, light pink to grey brown or red, often with accumulated older bark at base of trunk. Fl. cream, green, yellow, Jan–Mar/Jul–Dec. Sand, gravel, loam, granite, laterite, sandstone. Outcrops, coastal dunes, creek beds, hills, exposed slopes. Distribution: SW: AW, ESP, JF, MAL.
