Erect or prostrate, slender or bushy shrub, 0.15–1.5 m high. Fl. orange, yellow, Aug–Dec. Sandy soils, clay. Swampy areas, winter-wet depressions. Distribution: SW: AW, GS, JF, SWA, WAR.
