Bushy, non-lignotuberous shrub, 0.5–2 m high. Fl. brown, yellow, cream, grey, May–Oct. White or grey sand, lateritic gravel. Among quartzite rocks, granite, sandplains. Distribution: SW: AW, ESP, MAL.
