Erect, compact shrub, to 1 m high. Fl. yellow, Dec–Feb. White or grey-white sand over limestone, brown sand or brown sandy clay over granite. Coastal foredunes, rock crevices in cliffs, base of cliffs, salt marshes. Distribution: SW: ESP, JF, SWA, WAR.
